ASEE suggests that all Saddleback Valley Unified school administrators take child development courses, at any junior college, and find out why standardized test are grossly inappropriate for young children. What's wrong Saddleback? Don't your teachers have adequate training, especially with 20:1 student-teacher ratios, to be able to recognize these things themselves? How much money are you wasting on this nonsense? Why isn't the money that you're wasting on standardized tests being used to purchase classroom materials instead?
