Teacher Harassed, Even Though He ALWAYS Received
Exemplary Job Evaluations!

This Lomitas Elementary School teacher ALWAYS received OUTSTANDING job evaluations but was subjected to continual abuse for trying to help protect children from harm. Please examine the following as a small sample of the types of evaluations and other comments received by this teacher.  (Double click on each thumbnail to view each document). When you're done examining these, take a look, below, at how this teacher was harassed. The reader will note that this harassment continued for YEARS after the teacher quit. This is the same teacher that the Victor Elementary School District (VESD) viciously went after his teaching credential, FOUR YEARS after he left the district. This was also the same teacher that filed retaliation charges against the district with the U.S. Department of Education, Office for Civil Rights that eventually determined (June 28, 201) that  the district had violated the Civil Rights Act of 1964 with regards to retaliation and intimidation against a teacher for engaging in protected (lawful) activities.

Exemplary Job Evaluations and Other Comments!

ctc5.gif (92866 bytes)Letter of recommendation from Ralph Baker, Superintendent, Victor Elementary School District, obtained less than two weeks prior to the time this teacher filed his initial complaint against the Victor Elementary School District with the U.S. Department of Education, Office for Civil Rights. Please note that it was this interview that this teacher had with the San Bernardino County Schools Office, that Lomitas Elementary School Principal, Denise Edge, interfered with

ctc6.gif (173534 bytes)Here's one of the final formal observations of this teacher, done by Lomitas Principal, Denise Edge, just four months prior to this teacher filed his complaint against Lomitas Elementary School with OCR. Rather amazing that anyone could even consider revoking his teaching credential!

ctc7.gif (78673 bytes)Imagine, this teacher was considered a "master teacher" (one who trains student teachers) and received comments about how "refreshing it is to see (his students) taught how to read and write."  These comments came from his student teacher's "supervising professor" (a retired superintendent who observed student teachers as they were working in the classroom with their master teachers). These comments were done just a few weeks prior to the time the OCR complaint was filed.

Teacher Harassed by VESD and VESD Employees

In light of the wonderful evaluations and other comments received by this teacher (only a small portion are listed above), he was also subjected to severe harassment by the VESD, and VESD employees, for standing up for the civil rights of students within the district. Here are just a few of the ways in which he was harassed:

bulletVictor Elementary "Personnel Director," Janet Young, viciously tries to have this teacher's credentials revoked FOUR YEARS after he left (quit voluntarily) the district! While this botched attempt to further harass this teacher was ended when the California Commission on Teacher Credentialing admitted that they had "inadvertently" sent out their initial letter regarding an "investigation," the teacher filed another complaint against the district, with OCR, which resulted in the U.S. Department of Education finding the district violation of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 regarding retaliation against persons who have engaged in lawful protected activities.
bulletImmediately upon leaving Lomitas Elementary School, with NO INTENTION of ever going back, Denise Edge, principal at Lomitas  tries to interfere with a job interview by personally calling the San Bernardino County Superintendent of Schools Office regarding an interview this teacher had. Click here to go to the page that contains the actual message left on this teacher's answering machine, by Denise Edge.
bulletGrossly inappropriate flyers, and other materials "anonymously" placed in this teacher's mail box over an extended period of time. Please note that ALL of the materials listed on the above link came from this particular teacher's files that documented this harassment.
bulletThis teacher's classroom was searched, along with EVERY other classroom in the Victor Elementary School District, just one month prior to the time this teacher filed his initial complaint with OCR. Disgustingly, no one would help - not even the California Teachers Association and the National Education Association!
bulletTeacher was personally given "official" Lomitas boxer shorts by Principal, Denise Edge. How many "supervisors" give their employees underwear?
