Story:

This is mostly a plea out to anyone who may know of a class action suit against the CTC or a lawyer who would be willing to take them on. I have a Clear Multiple and a Clear Secondary credential, and a Master's in Multicultural Education. I then decided I wanted to teach in Special Ed., and began a program requiring me to RE-TAKE several classes. Then, at some point, the CTC changed the time allowed to complete the program, thus making it impossible for me to do so. I now have over 100 post-graduate units in Education, and have taught Special Ed. for 6 years. Even if they were to grant an extension (which they denied) they would've required me to Student Teach AGAIN, which would have forced me to quit my job. So, I am currently unemployed in a state where there is a crisis in needing teachers, particularly Special Ed. teachers. Can any sense be made of this? I believe the public has a right to know that this goes on. This is "60 Minutes" stuff. Please contact me with an ideas. ********
