Diane Crow, a Former Region Manager with the California Teachers Association
KNEW About the Problems with the Victor Elementary Teachers Association
and Did NOTHING!

For that matter, so did other high ranking officials of the California Teachers Association!

The following letter (listed below), from Diane Crow, Region IV Manager of the California Teachers Association, does nothing more than acknowledge that the CTA KNEW there were severe problems with the Victor Elementary Teachers Association, and stating that it would be helpful if people from the association attended meetings (which, VETA Board Members were NEVER informed about on any kind of regular basis) - NOTHING was done. For that matter, nothing was EVER done to assist so many teachers whose lives were later destroyed.

Let's take another look at what CTA already knew by this time:

bulletCTA ALREADY KNEW that membership dues checks (amount GREATER than $14,000) they had sent to VETA had not been cashed.
bulletCTA ALREADY KNEW that VETA's Constitution and Bylaws were GROSSLY out of Compliance with CTA Regulations

Be sure to look at some of the things that happened, in the Victor Elementary School District AFTER this letter was sent and the California Teachers Association still DID NOTHING ABOUT:

bulletCTA BOTCHES Elections
bulletCTA DID NOTHING to stop ongoing HARASSMENT of Teachers
bulletCTA ALLOWS ALL Classrooms to be "Raided" during instructional time.
bulletHigh Desert Service Council Ignores Segregation and Discrimination in Victor Elementary Schools
bulletTeachers in Other High Desert School Districts and Other San Bernardino County Districts Also Suffer Greatly
bulletHesperia Unified Education Association Goes on Strike and Bill Ribblett, High Desert Service Center Rep Fails to Show Up (Again)
bulletCTA DOES Nothing to Stop Nomination of Lomitas Elementary School Nomination as a "California Distinguished School"
